If you’re looking for a dog with personality, Carter has it in spades. He’s cute, sweet, and full of energy- basically a toddler with fur and four legs. Around here, we lovingly call him our little “terrorist” because the only time the house is quiet is when he’s in his crate catching some Z’s. Don’t let that fool you though- Carter is a total sweetheart who loves people, playtime, and being part of the action.

At just about a year old, Carter has all the goofy puppy charm (and mischief) you’d expect. He’s smart, hilarious, and endlessly entertaining, but he definitely needs an active home that can match his energy. A yard to zoom around in would be his dream, and someone who appreciates his antics will never be bored. He’s also a big fan of his crate and settles in nicely when it’s time to relax.

Carter gets along well with dogs that can tolerate his puppy energy and play style, and he’s shown to be unphased and curious (but never aggressive) toward cats. With the right companions, he fits right in.

Carter is the definition of “work hard, play harder.” He’ll keep you laughing, keep you moving, and keep your heart full. If you’re ready for a best friend with a little sass and a lot of love, Carter’s your guy.
